Flowering size orchid

The Rodrigueziopsis eleutherosepala is an impressive orchid that is found in nature in the tropical rainforests of South America, especially in Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. It is an epiphytic plant that attaches itself and develops on tree trunks and branches. Its slender, hanging shoots can grow up to 40 cm long and are covered with small, leathery leaves. The special feature of the Rodrigueziopsis eleutherosepala are its beautiful flowers. They are relatively large and impress with their bright, light yellow color with brown markings. The name eleutherosepala is derived from the Greek words "eleutheros" (free) and "sepala" (sepals), which refers to the strikingly free-standing sepals of the flowers. When caring for this orchid, a partially shaded location is recommended. It prefers temperate to warm temperatures and should be watered regularly throughout the year.
