The Dendrobium parvulum blue is a charming and fascinating orchid, distinguished by its small appearance and striking blue flowers. At approximately 4 x 4 cm, it is rather small, but by no means less impressive. The flowers are small at approximately 6 mm, but very striking due to their intense color. This orchid species prefers partially shaded conditions to avoid being damaged by excessive sunlight (although in its native habitat, it grows in sunlight dimmed by mist) and requires a very humid environment, making it ideal for terrariums or greenhouses. It prefers temperate conditions. Supplemental lighting with grow lights is recommended. The Dendrobium parvulum blue blooms from December to May and delights the viewer with its vibrant blue blossoms. A special feature is that it has no distinct dormancy period and therefore requires year-round care.
