The Dracula trichroma, also known as Dracula iricolor, is a unique orchid species known for its unusual reddish flowers with dark, pointed tips. Originally from the cloud forests of Colombia, this orchid grows in cool, moist conditions and prefers shady locations. The Dracula trichroma is a relatively small orchid with narrow, lanceolate leaves. Its spectacular flowers are the main attraction. These appear singly or in small groups and have an unusual shape reminiscent of the faces of bats. The flowers are usually tricoloured, hence the name "trichroma". Dracula trichroma, like all Dracula species, requires higher humidity and good ventilation. It is an excellent choice for experienced orchid lovers who are looking for a challenge and want a unique addition to their collection.
